RFP Evaluation Report – Student Information System

The Board of Education issued a Request for Proposals (RFP), pursuant to provisions of law authorizing competitive contracting, for application software for a District-wide Student Information System. Proposals were accepted from February 14th, 2014 until March 7th, 2014.  The Board of Education received five proposals in response to the RFP. The following are the names of the vendors that submitted proposals (in alphabetical order):

  • Follett (Aspen)
  • Genesis
  • Custom Computer (Infinite Campus)
  • Skyward
  • SRB Education Solutions (SchoolLogic)

All proposals were evaluated in accordance with the methodology described in the RFP. The evaluation was led by Susan Press, Business Administrator, with the aid of a committee formed for the specific purpose of evaluating the proposals. The committee members were:

  • Guillermo Vargas-Dellacasa – Coordinator of Technology
  • Khalida Jakubas – Database Operations Manager
  • Michael Hughes – Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum/Pupil Personnel Services
