The winners have been announced for the 5th Annual Hunterdon County Young Composers Contest.  One winner was chosen in each of three grade levels, Grade 3-5, Grade 6-8 and Grade 9-12. Congratulations to North Hunterdon High School freshman Haley Wright who was selected as the Grade 9-12 winner!  Haley won for her piano piece entitled “Nature’s Fantasy.”  Haley and the other two grade level winners will perform their winning pieces at a concert on May 31 at 10:00am at the North Branch of the Hunterdon County Library.  Also, congratulations to North Hunterdon junior Nathan Bishop, who is one of four composers chosen to perform his/her piece at a Raritan River Music Festival Concert on a Saturday in May!
