BOE Meetings
The Board of Education meets regularly. Board of Education meetings are open to the public and will include an opportunity for the public to address the Board. These meetings are held in the District Administration Office (unless otherwise noted), located on the North Hunterdon High School campus at 1445 State Route 31, Annandale, NJ 08801 (office is by tennis courts). The NJ School Boards Association (NJSBA๐กต) has prepared a guide explaining how school board meetings are conducted in New Jersey. It discusses the roles of the school board and superintendent, how the public can participate in the meetings, board agendas, and closed sessions within the meetings. It also explains the difference between school board policies and state regulations, the role of the New Jersey Department of Education, and the laws that govern the right of the public to participate and have access to meeting records. The agenda for each meeting of the NHV Board of Education is published on the district website, along with a link to the YouTube live stream and/or recording of the meeting.
