Several students from North Hunterdon and Voorhees High Schools who attend Hunterdon County Polytech performed well at the New Jersey State SkillsUSA Competition in April.  Congratulations to the following students: Melanie Blew (NHHS) who took 3rd place in Culinary Arts competition; Melinda Finnegan (VHS) who won 1st place in Wedding Cake competition with classmate Greta Bernhardt; Colton Curtis (VHS) who took 2nd place in Design & Build Plywood Challenge with classmate John Saharic; Maggie Robustelli (NHHS) who won 1st place for People’s Choice Fantasy Makeup; Cherie DeBois (VHS) who took 2nd place in Sate Banner with classmate Alexandra Torrey; and to Bryn Haug (NHHS), Emily Taborelli (VHS) and Catherine Moody (NHHS) who took 2nd place in Team Skills Demo.  Great job by all!
