Today is our first day of our Unified Week of Respect. Our first shout out is from Myla to Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Marko. Myla says thank you for always helping me do my best and guiding me down the right path.
TODAY the Unified club will hold a bake sale during the lunch periods in the mall. Come join us for a tasty treat with a good cause!! Unified members, don’t forget to wear your crazy socks tomorrow!!
For any students taking AP Biology next school year, you must attend one of the mandatory meetings in room 205 at 2:30. The meeting dates are TOMORROW, May 23 and Thursday, May 31
SADD will meet TOMORROW for our final meeting at 2:30 in room 125. Attendance is mandatory as we need to finalize items.
There will be a gymnastics interest meeting this Thursday, May 24, in room 125 after school. Email Ms. McGourty with any questions.
The National English Honors Society is hosting a book drive! The books will be collected in the Reading/Writing Lab from TODAY to Friday, June 1 – and all NEHS members will receive an hour for each 10 books they donate! Please consider donating any excess books to support the NEHS and the community!
Key Club will be having “Kiss a Senior Goodbye” this year! “Kiss a Senior Goodbye is your chance to send off a senior with Hershey kiss flowers. They are $1 for one or $6 for a full bouquet! For ordering and additional information, please contact Mr. Rotondo or Mr. Bisco.

The Northern Lights Art and Literary Magazine is accepting submissions of poetry, flash fiction, and artwork until May 25th. Please submit as a Google doc or jpeg image to northernlights@nhvweb.net
Attention all vocalists: Now is the time to strut your stuff! Auditions for next year’s Chamber Choir, Madrigal Singers, and Show Choir are coming up on June 6th and 7th. If you are are looking for a challenging and fun outlet for your vocal talent, these auditioned choirs might be the place for you! Audition materials and sign-ups are located in the Choir Room (Rm 131). See Mr. Hopta or Mrs. Cudworth for more information.
There will be Impact testing for current Sophomores who will be Juniors for Fall 2018 sports on the following days:
Wednesday, May 23rd – Boys and Girls Cross Country
Wednesday, May 30th – Boys and Girls Soccer
All tests except cheer will be in room 156 at 3 pm.
