Congratulations to the Voorhees Youth & Government delegation who was named \u2018Premier Delegation\u2019 at the 2023 New Jersey YMCA Youth & Government Conference, held April 14-16! ‘Premier Delegation’ is only awarded to one attending school each year. While Voorhees has been awarded \u2018Outstanding Delegation\u2019 in the past, this is its first \u2018Premier Delegation\u2019 award.<\/div>\n

In addition, senior Lauren Alligood, who served as a member in the Youth Governor\u2019s cabinet this year, was also nominated to attend the selective Conference on National Affairs in North Carolina this summer!<\/div>\n

This weekend’s conference was a three-day legislative simulation that offers more than 400 delegates the opportunity to debate pertinent state issues, engage in servant leadership, and most importantly, forge lifelong relationships.<\/div>\n
