The VHS Key Club attended the annual DECON event March 26-28 in Asbury Park, NJ where key clubs across the state gather to discuss their service years and to celebrate accolades earned throughout the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
VHS Key Club earned the following awards\/honors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1st Place – Single Service Project for their book drive and literacy awareness booth in which they brought in over 1,000 books for donation<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2nd Place – Kiwanis Relations Project where VHS Key Club teamed up with their local Kiwanis to host their annual Food Drive during the holiday season<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3rd Place – Service Year Video which was created to show the variety of projects that VHS Key Club hosted throughout the service year<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Distinguished Club Award for performance in the combined areas of club administration, membership and leadership development, Kiwanis family involvement, service, and fundraising as judged against a
pre-established standard of excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
